I, Cacique Samael Ojeda Mercado- "Chief Winter Hawk", Chief of the Maya-We Nation, solemnly and humbly swear to uphold the Constitution of the Maya-We Nation and to serve as the protector and steward of its sovereignty, dignity, and prosperity. I pledge to act with integrity, wisdom, and compassion in all matters of governance. I vow to safeguard the rights, traditions, and well-being of every citizen, ensuring that our cultural heritage is preserved for future generations. I will make decisions in the best interest of the Maya-We Nation, adhering to the principles of justice, equality, and peace, and respecting the international obligations, host nations obligations and agreements that affirm our place in the global community.

This I swear, under the sacred trust bestowed upon me by our people and the spirits of our ancestors and our Creator "Yúcahu Bagua Maórocoti",
